Lamb with Fresh Potatoes

Ingredients
  • Oil – 2 - 3 tbsp.
  • Lamb meat – 1.5 kg.
  • Potatoes – 1 kg.

  • Carrots – 4 - 5 pieces
  • Salt
  • Black pepper – ground
  • Red pepper
  • Lovage – 2 - 3 sprigs
Preparation
  1. Cut the meat into pieces and sprinkle with salt, black and red pepper.
  2. Place in a pre-greased clay pot and add two cups of warm water. Bake for 1.5 hours at 200°C.
  3. Peel and rinse the potatoes, cut the carrots coarsely. Lightly salt and add to the pot.
  4. Add the lovage sprigs and pour in two more cups of hot water. Drizzle with oil and bake for another 30-40 minutes.
  5. This recipe yields 5-6 servings.
