Preparation
Rinse the rice well under running water.
Chop the tomatoes and onion finely.
Heat the oil and sauté the onion for 2–3 minutes.
Add the tomatoes and cook for another 3–4 minutes.
Add the rice and stir.
Pour in the water and season with salt and black pepper.
Cook on low heat until the rice absorbs the liquid.
