Ingredients
  • 4 eggs
  • 375 g sugar
  • 1 cup yogurt (250 ml)
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 280 g flour
  • 150 ml oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • grated zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp natural cocoa (heaping)
Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine eggs, sugar, vanilla, and lemon zest. Mix with a mixer until fluffy.
  2. Gradually add oil while mixing, followed by yogurt with baking soda.
  3. Sift in the flour and mix with a spatula.
  4. Divide the batter in half; stir cocoa into one half.
  5. Prepare a 26 cm springform pan with parchment paper, grease with butter, and lightly flour.
  6. Pour 2 tbsp of the white batter in the center, then add 1 tbsp of the cocoa batter, alternating until all is used.
  7. Bake at 170 degrees for about 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
