Tandoori Masala Rice with Broccoli and Chickpeas

Ingredients
  • 300g broccoli /one medium head/
  • 1 cup brown basmati rice
  • 150g chickpeas
  • tandoori masala
  • curry
  • turmeric
  • salt
  • olive oil
Preparation
  1. This recipe is for an Instant Pot, but you can also prepare it in a pressure cooker or regular pot. The only difference will be in cooking time.
  2. 1. Wash and chop the broccoli head.
  3. 2. Add 1 cup of rice and 2.5 to 3 cups of water.
  4. 3. Add the chickpeas, oil, and salt.
  5. 4. Finally, add spices to taste, color, or aroma :) Place in the Instant Pot on pressure function for 8 minutes.
