Caramelized Almonds (Christmas Cookies)

Ingredients
  • 200 g almonds
  • 200 g sugar
  • 100 ml water
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
Preparation
  1. Place sugar, vanilla sugar, and cinnamon in a non-stick pot and stir slightly, then add water.
  2. Bring to a boil. Add the almonds and continue on high heat, stirring constantly until the sugar becomes dry.
  3. Then reduce the heat to medium and stir until the sugar starts to melt slightly and the almonds shine.
  4. Pour the almonds onto a baking tray, separate them with two forks, and let them cool.
  5. Enjoy your meal!
