Ingredients
- check_circlehot dog buns – 4 pcs
- check_circle sausages or frankfurters – 4 pcs
- check_circle cheddar – 160 g
- check_circle mozzarella – 100 g
- check_circle fresh milk – 100 ml
- check_circle butter – 1 tbsp
- check_circle flour – 1 tbsp
- check_circle pickles – 2 pcs
- check_circle ketchup – 4 tbsp
- check_circle mustard – 2 tbsp
- check_circle salt – pinch
- check_circle black pepper – pinch
Preparation
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan and add the flour to make a light roux.
- Gradually add the fresh milk while stirring until smooth.
- Add the grated cheddar and mozzarella and stir until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
- Grill the sausages in a pan or on a grill.
- Slice the buns and lightly toast them.
- Place the sausages in the buns.
- Add pickles, drizzle with the cheese sauce, and optionally add ketchup and mustard. Serve immediately.
