For the filling:

1 package of phyllo dough

1 cup sugar
check_circle
1/2 cup oil

5/6 tbsp flour

1 baking powder

3 boxes of lokum

For the syrup:

3 and 1/2 cups water
check_circle
2 and 1/2 cups sugar

Preparation
Take one sheet of phyllo dough and spread 3 tbsp of the filling on it.
Place another sheet on top and spread 3 tbsp of filling again.
Arrange pieces of lokum along the narrow side and roll tightly.
Repeat with the remaining sheets in the same manner.
Place in a greased baking dish and bake for about 15 minutes at 180°C.
Pour hot syrup over the banitsa while it is still warm.
