Ingredients
  • zucchini – 4 pcs
  • ground meat (beef or mixed) – 600 g
  • canned tomatoes – 400 g
  • onion – 1 pc
  • garlic – 2 cloves
  • olive oil – 2 tbsp
  • ricotta or cream cheese – 200 g
  • mozzarella – 200 g
  • parmesan – 60 g
  • egg – 1 pc
  • salt – 1 tsp
  • black pepper – 1/2 tsp
  • oregano – 1 tsp
Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Slice the zucchini into thin strips (like lasagna sheets).
  3. In a pan with olive oil, sauté the onion and garlic.
  4. Add the ground meat and cook until done.
  5. Add the tomatoes and spices, and let simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. In a bowl, mix the ricotta with the egg.
  7. In a baking dish, layer: zucchini → meat → cheese → repeat.
  8. Finish with mozzarella and parmesan on top, bake for about 35–40 minutes until golden brown.
