Ingredients
  • red beans (cooked or canned) – 400 g
  • oats (ground) – 80 g
  • onion – 1 pcs
  • garlic – 2 cloves
  • carrot – 1 pcs
  • soy sauce – 2 tbsp
  • olive oil – 2 tbsp
  • smoked paprika – 1 tsp
  • cumin – 1/2 tsp
  • salt – 1 tsp
  • black pepper – 1/2 tsp
  • burger buns (vegan) – 4 pcs
  • lettuce – 4 leaves
  • tomato – 2 pcs
  • vegan mayonnaise – 4 tbsp
Preparation
  1. Mash the beans with a fork or lightly puree (to keep texture).
  2. Add the ground oats, grated carrot, finely chopped onion, and garlic.
  3. Season with soy sauce, spices, and 1 tbsp olive oil.
  4. Form 4 burgers and let them set for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Cook them in a pan with a little olive oil until golden brown.
  6. Lightly toast the buns.
  7. Assemble the burger: bun → mayonnaise → bean patty → lettuce → tomato → bun.
  8. Serve immediately.
