Ingredients
  • 4 eggs
  • 120 g sugar
  • 160 g flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1 liquid vanilla
  • For the cream:
  • 500 ml whipped cream
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • For the syrup:
  • 500 g sugar
  • 600 ml water (boil for 10 minutes)
Preparation
  1. Cut the cake into two equal halves. If you don't have a metal ring, use the one you baked in to assemble.
  2. Soak the bottom half with half of the cooled syrup. Spread the cream on top.
  3. Cut the top half into 8 triangles and arrange them on top.
  4. Pour the remaining syrup over the cake.
  5. Let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 4-5 hours. After that, sprinkle with your choice of toppings.
