Ingredients

600 g flour

300 ml lukewarm water (not hot)

2 tbsp vinegar
check_circle
1 tsp salt
check_circle
1 tbsp sugar
check_circle
1 tsp baking soda
check_circle
1 packet baking powder
check_circle
2 tbsp olive oil
Preparation
Sift the flour into a bowl, add salt, baking soda, and baking powder, and mix.
Gradually add the mixed vinegar, sugar, and water while stirring with a spoon.
Knead the dough, adding olive oil little by little, for about 10 minutes.
Shape the dough into a ball, cover with a cloth, and let it rest for about 20 minutes.
Form the dough into a round loaf on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
If making for Christmas Eve, place a coin wrapped in foil inside the bread.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 40 minutes.
