Ingredients
  • 3 cups flour (200 ml capacity)
  • 1 tsp dry yeast
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 125 ml fresh milk
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • fresh dill
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 200 g cheese
Preparation
  1. Sift the flour and add the dry ingredients: yeast, sugar, salt. Mix well.
  2. Add one beaten egg and warmed fresh milk. Knead into a dough.
  3. Incorporate 2 tbsp of butter to form a soft dough. Let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
  4. Prepare the filling by mixing chopped dill, oil, 2 tbsp of room temperature butter, pressed garlic, and salt.
  5. Spread the risen dough onto a lined baking tray, make diamond-shaped cuts, and brush with beaten egg.
  6. Top with the dill mixture and let it absorb for a few minutes. Place cheese strips in the cuts.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees until golden brown.
