Beef with Potatoes

Ingredients
  • 500 g beef
  • 4 potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
Preparation
  1. Cut the beef into chunks.
  2. Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes.
  3. Chop the onion and carrot finely.
  4. Heat the oil and sauté the beef until golden.
  5. Add the onion and carrot, and cook for 3–4 minutes.
  6. Stir in the paprika, then add the potatoes and enough water to cover them.
  7. Season with salt and black pepper, and simmer on low heat for about 40–50 minutes until the meat and potatoes are tender.
