3 cloves

1/4 nutmeg

2 vanilla pods

1 pinch of salt

1/2 cup powdered sugar

10 g dry yeast

1 cup fresh milk
check_circle
300 g raisins
check_circle
1/4 tsp ginger
check_circle
1/4 tsp cardamom
check_circle
50 ml rum
check_circle
3 tbsp honey
Preparation
Mix the milk, yeast, and honey separately. Soak the raisins and candied peels in rum.
Sift the flour and add all the spices and ingredients. Grind the cloves.
Once the yeast is activated, add it to the flour mixture. Squeeze the soaked raisins well to avoid excess moisture.
Knead the dough well and let it rise for at least an hour. Then knead again and shape it.
Bake at 180 degrees Celsius and check with a toothpick for doneness. Cover with foil when it starts to brown.
Once removed from the oven, generously brush with butter and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
