Rice with Mushrooms

Ingredients
  • 1 cup rice
  • 350g mushrooms
  • 1 bunch leek
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1-2 stalks green onion
  • 3 sprigs parsley
Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 180-190 degrees Celsius.
  2. Wash the rice (do not soak it). Let it dry while cleaning the mushrooms.
  3. Chop the garlic and leek, and sauté them with the mushrooms.
  4. Once the garlic and mushrooms soften, add the rice and sauté.
  5. Add one cup of water, season with salt and black pepper, and wait for the rice to swell slightly.
  6. Remove from heat, add 4 cups of water, and place in the preheated oven.
  7. When the rice with mushrooms is ready, sprinkle with parsley and green onion. Enjoy!
