Ingredients

300g walnuts

60g sugar

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 vanilla pod

20-24 walnut halves
Preparation
Beat the sugar and egg whites.
Coarsely grind the walnuts.
Add the sugar and egg white mixture to the walnuts.
Stir in the cinnamon and vanilla.
Form balls the size of walnuts.
Place parchment paper in a tray and arrange the balls.
Top each ball with half a walnut and press down.
Bake at 190 degrees for about 10 minutes until golden.
