Preparation
Heat the milk in a saucepan.
Beat the eggs with the sugar.
Add the flour and mix well.
Pour the warm milk into the mixture while stirring.
Return to the heat and cook until thickened.
Add the butter and vanilla, then let the cream cool.
Whip the cream and assemble the cake by alternating layers and cream.
