FOR THE TOPPING: 300g butter

750ml water
check_circle
1/2 lemon juice
Preparation
First, prepare the syrup by boiling sugar, water, and lemon juice for about 15 minutes. Let it cool.
Sift flour with baking powder in one bowl and beat eggs in another. Add milk, oil, vinegar, and salt to the eggs.
Gradually mix in the flour until a dough forms, then knead by hand. Divide the dough into 3 equal parts and make 10 balls from each.
Roll each ball into a circle of about 15 cm, dusting with starch. Stack them in groups of 10.
Roll one stack into a large sheet (about 36 cm) and place it in a greased baking dish. Sprinkle with ground nuts.
Repeat with the next 10 sheets, adding nuts in between, and cover with the last 10 sheets. Cut into desired shapes.
Melt the butter and pour it over the baklava. Bake at 180 degrees for about 1 hour, then pour cold syrup over hot baklava and let it sit overnight.
