check_circle dry yeast (fresh yeast can also be used)
check_circle 2 tablespoons sugar
check_circle 1 tablespoon salt
check_circle oil - for greasing
check_circle butter - for greasing
check_circle 1 egg yolk
Preparation
In a bowl, combine 1 cup of warm water, fresh yeast, and sugar, stirring until the yeast dissolves. Let it sit for about 10 minutes until frothy.
Add the remaining warm water and salt. Gradually add flour until a dough forms. Grease with oil and let it rise in a warm place.
Separate a ball of dough and place it in the center of a greased baking tray, shaping it as desired. Divide the remaining dough into three parts.
Roll out three round sheets, greasing each with melted butter and stacking them. Cut into 8 triangles and roll each from the base to the tip, arranging them around the circle in the tray.
Let it rise again, brush with egg yolk, and bake in a preheated oven at 170°C.
Decorate with small branches of dogwood tied with pre-written fortunes.
